The Dakota Collector
Following you will find some of the best examples of the Dakota Collector
since the publication of the Dakota Collector Started. The Collector has been published quarterly since the Society
was founded in 1982. As computer programs and technology improved so did the
Dakota Collector. The first 20 years or so was a study of the post offices from which
postmarks were known in all North Dakota Counties. Since then we have started on
the South Dakota Counties and have also had a variety of other articlesm on
North and South Dakota to fill
each issue of the Collector. In 2008 we issued a CD of all issues
in the first 25 years of the Collector. You can see how to order this by Clicking
Here. To view the past
issues of the Collector below just click on the link. These are PDF files so you must
have Adobe Acrobat to view them. They are larger files so if you are using a
dial up connection they will take a while to load.
